Greg Golden

Greg’s primary role at LCM is to identify and develop new sources of capital that will participate in loans where LCM acts as lead lender. Golden brings over thirty years of real estate and capital markets experience to LCM.  

Golden began his career in Dallas as a commercial mortgage banker with the Murray Investment Company. During that time period, he originated loans with Life Insurance Companies, Savings and Loan Institutions, Credit Corporations, Pension Funds and Commercial Banks. Golden spent fourteen years with Column Financial, the CMBS loan origination organization originally owned by a joint venture between the investment bank DLJ and Equitable Real Estate Management. DLJ along with Column were eventually acquired by Credit Suisse. Golden helped establish the Southwest Regional office for Column, initially serving as Regional Manager. During his tenure, Golden helped establish Column as one of the most respected and productive lending organizations in the industry. Golden served in many senior roles a Column, including Managing Director and ultimately President.

Golden has spent most of his career in in the real estate finance industry but also spent a total of seven years working for local real estate development and investment firms. He was involved with the formation of the private real estate investment firm Oakmont Capital Group where he served as President. Golden’s real estate experience includes property management,  project marketing, leasing, income property sales, investment analysis, site analysis and land development.

Golden holds a BBA with a concentration in Real Estate from Southern Methodist University.
