James Robertson
James Robertson serves as CRO of LCM. Robertson is a talented investment and operations executive with broad expertise in real estate finance, credit underwriting, risk analysis, investment and development. With hands-on expertise in the management of diversified real estate organizations and portfolios, Robertson cultivates strategic business alliances.
Over the last 3 decades, Robertson has built a distinguished record and reputation for creative problem solving with strong analytical ability and understanding of the capital markets. In 2011 he began to focus exclusively on bridge lending to small businesses supported by government guaranteed permanent take out commitments, forming Lincoln Capital Management LLC. Robertson has spearheaded company growth into a national lending platform focusing on ground-up construction and acquisition projects under the SBA 504 and 7(a) programs for small business.
Robertson holds both a Bachelors of Business Administration and a Bachelors of Arts in Economics, and a Real Estate Finance Certification from Southern Methodist University. He has a Texas Real Estate Brokerage License and has been a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, the Real Estate Council of Dallas, and the SMU Real Estate Society. He is also a charter member of the Construction Lender Risk Management Round-table, a leading forum for construction risk managers in the banking industry.
